I love the fact that I get to meet & support so many wonderful people. I love the laughs we share & friendships we form in the process. I also do have a passion for nurturing & supporting teachers.

Christine Bowen, Teacher
Christine is a certified & experienced level 5 Romana's Pilates teacher. Christine comes to Dublin from Belfast to teach & to take class as much as possible. She began teaching Pilates in 2012. Very early in her teaching she experienced Classical Pilates and her passion for it grew from there, continuing to invest in her education with some of the best international teachers from the US and Europe. She taught for over 5 years with Classical training & contemporary Pilates mat certification. But from that first taste of classical Pilates she knew she had to obtain a comprehensive certification to be able to teach the whole Pilates system and bring Classical Pilates to her hometown of Belfast. After years of searching, which lead to various countries, studios and ongoing classical workshops, she found her answer with Romana’s Pilates. She undertook her rigorous 700 hour apprenticeship over 2 years between The Hague and The Pilates Studio Dublin. She studied at The Pilates Studio in The Netherlands with Marjorie Oron (level X), one of a handful of the highest level trainers of Romana’s Pilates in the world, and Jane Poerwoatmodjo (level 3). With invaluable training, support and mentoring from Vlada in Dublin. Her passion for Pilates and attention to detail are infectious.
